NoScript FF

First thing I do is disable "Show message about blocked scripts", most sites will include scripting which isn't needed to display the page correctly, so that message bar ends up being little more than spam. Then you need to get used to using the little NoScript icon to control which domains scripts are loaded from, as pretty much every site you visit will rely on some form of scripting.

For many sites it's obvious, you simply allow the domain associated with the site, for instance overclockers.co.uk for these forums. However other sites may rely on scripting from different domains to load correctly, for instance on YouTube you need to allow youtube.com and ytimg.com. It can get more complicated if you're purchasing stuff online or doing online banking, as many sites will rely on third parties for payment processing or authentication, for instance arcot.com for cardholder verification, so it's not always easy knowing what you need to allow.

Its quite easy. Some sites will have obvious scripts such as Overclockers or Google or BBC News but others will have other scripts such as advertising stuff that I like to disable. Paypal enabled sites will often have 2-3 Paypal scripts on there to have running. :)

Wont bother repeating what others have already said, just that if you're unsure what to allow, you can select "temporarily allow xxxxx". That allows that domain for the current FF session. If you find its the correct one, then choose to permanently allow it next time.

Can you block certain part of a website, for instance teamtalk.com has loads of crap on it with some kinda tv player which I never use.

No longer use noscript since the developer started interfering with other addons like Adblockplus sneakily adding ad sites to the accept list.

Greed for money got the better of him tbh.

To be honest I never had issues with not having Noscript before (using just adblock plus) and continue to have no problems after removing it.

Use common sense when surfing and all will be fine.
