Nosebleeds

When blood comes out from your penis is when you need to worry. Had that happen to me a while back. Turned out to be a bladder infection. Spent a few days in hospital on drugs. Scary.

Sounds awful! I used to have pretty bad ones when younger, but just stopped.

^^^ If blood come out of my penis though I'd probably run around screaming for a little while

Bad one is...

Blowing your nose and finding blood when you have never suffered nose bleeds and then also having blood in your semen.

No one knows whats up with me doctors, hospital and specialists, am a medical enigma at the moment. :p

Reminds me of when I had a tube stuck up my nose and down my throat. It hurt like hell to swallow and after 2 days of not using it I just thought "to hell with this" and pulled it out. Turns out it was about a foot deep and black with the charcoal they'd pumped into me. Wack

I have had two big ones - first was years ago at 3.00 in morning - got to A&E at 4.00 and didn't stop till 6.00 - The night Doc had no idea what to do - in the end he got one of those pump up rubber fingers out and started to insert it - that made me cough and I splattered his shirt and tie with blood - Second one a few months ago but only lasted 30 min -
The best thing to grab is bowl out of kitchen sink - hold it under your chin and just let it run - Quite surprising how much is in there after an hour or so - Wife was a bit queezy.

They are not funny at the time but you get over it.

Your nose bleeds sound somewhat epic. I have had them since I was about 6 or 7 (I had to teach one of my primary school teachers how to deal with them) and consequently they are just one of those things that happen. I probably get them at least once or twice a month these days. It has improved massively since my hay-fever decided to give it a rest and leave me alone :-)

Used to regularly have nosebleeds as a kid for no apparent reason. Though every time something would hit me in the face (read: nose) I would get a nosebleed! I'd imagine my nose would still pop if a football hit me in the face or something but its much more resilient now.

Whenever I get them now its usually 2-3 days after a bad cold and I'd just be sat at work or something, sniff, then sniff harder, then realise that its not snot but blood and dash off to the toilet! They usually only last for 5 minutes though thankfully. As a kid they went on and on; it was miserable.

I’m in hospital again with another one :(

They’ve had to pack it again. I’m in agony. They won’t stop the blood thinners though as they are protecting me against a stroke as I have a clot in the heart. I’ve had some codeine but it’s not doing much, they may give me some morphine soon.

I’m so sick of all this guys, it’s never ending. Sometimes I feel like I just wanna go to sleep and never wake up. There’s just no end in sight :(

Just over 12 months ago my Dad ended up in hospital due to a nosebleed.

Packing went in, they dosed him up on morphine and he ended up making himself comfy for a week

As someone who suffered frequent nosebloods growing up, I can really sympathise with you on what a pain in the butt they are.
My Father had horrendous nosebleeds too but I luckily grew out of them after countless trips to the ENT for cauterising. (I used to think it was quarter-ising and asked how they could possibly do it more than 4 times. lol)

Was about to say are you on blood thinners or something.

Never really had an issue with nose bleeds (though have only ever been on blood thinners once). I did have a septoplasty once though, fortunately the surgeon decided to use some new wax/plasticy plug thing... basically at some point during recovery after the op it just naturally drops out.

At my post op meeting he asked me if I'd been OK with it, I told him it was absolutely fine, he replied "good, you're the first person I've used it on".

Basically it was some alternative to the regular packing... now I've not experienced that but the thing I did experience was no bother at all so presumably at some point the NHS might use it too.

Welcome to my life. Had nosebleeds for 28 years. Usually something as simple as sneezing or blowing my nose but often nothing at all sets them off. Had them several times in restaurants while sitting and eating. Even had a couple mid sexy time which my ex didn't appreciate :D
I had one at a Vegas pool party once.. the bouncers thought I was on the coke
