I'm jealous of the size of your garage. You have all that space for activities. If I want to do any work on my car I have to lie on the road out the back of the house.
If you can roll it to make sure nothing's seized in the drive line or brakes, it starts and hasn't been sitting long enough for the fuel or oil to be suspect I'd just drive it tbh
Sadly due to factors since I start this thread nothing has really happened with the old girl but she is now kept warm and dry in the garage at our house but she is looking a bit worse for wear. Not started her for a few years now but hopefully keeping her in the dry once the nipper grows up I will get around to spending some time getting it back on the road.
The plate was sold I think, its just in the window as it used to be on it.
At some point it would be nice to get it back on the road and it's not going to lose money which obviously is always helpful. Luckily there doesn't seem to be any rust on it as it has been garaged pretty much its hole life which helps.
I've got a classic mini in much the same state, only more rusty as it's a mini after all...
But like you've said if its in a dry garage it'll essentially be in stasis and won't be degrading further so you can just leave it there to pick up later, With the added bonus of it appreciating in value all the while.
