ok, so i got my dfi ut nf4 sli-d board and decided to update the bios (had also been doing a spot of overclocking).
The bios update was done in windows (which i have now learnt is not the best way to go about it) and after it said it had finished, rebooted and it hung on the 'verifying DMI pool data' bit so i went into the bios and loaded optimal defaults and again nothing.
Now i have just visited dfi-street and got a cd tool with which i just reflashed my board again with one the bios provided for my board on the disk but its still just hanging. Is this definatly a bios problem or could it be a windows problem??
please help!!
thanks in advance for any words of wisdom
