Yes I know its early and its the dreaded word so early on.

I'm just curious, myself and my partner have been buying gifts over past month or two for family and kids of family to get it out of way and make December easier.

We're tired of getting to December and blowing our work bonus on every one else (may sound harsh but we like a bonus too!).

Due to this our friends and family think we're insane plus moaning abit if we ask if anything in perticular they would like, now I don't ask every one that just a few who I know ain't short of money so tend to buy whatever they want on the spot.

Has any one else started getting stuff sorted yet gift wise?

Common sense will say late Nov / early Dec. Don't leave it until Christmas Eve because that's stupid, but anything before start of September term is just as stupid imo.

This year it seems to be a little bit of a thing - several colleagues have commented they've been buying Christmas presents this month - especially because of some of the discounts various companies have been running recently.

Out of interest what gifts are you buying? 4 months is a long time for kids to lose interest in something they like now, similar to that of adults tbh.
