This is a joke now, your ystem is capped at 60fps even if you had 3 280gtx and an i7 cpu it would still be capped. your wasting peoples time, you obviously knwo enough about pc's to understand the performance of sli and i7 so you understand the requiremants of WOW. this tells me this thread now needs to be closed!!!!!

No game requirements are just minimum, for decent performance you need way higher than what it says, clearly. And no, the i7 setup would run it faster. Just badly programmed games like crysis making you think otherwise. Trust me.

You have to use the 3.5" floppy version though to work around the inbuilt electron flux capacitance in Vista.

Tbh I wouldn't be surprised if Crysis needed a flux capacitor just to display the menu, its that badly programmed. I told you don't get me started.

Try unplug your PC and plug it back in. It'll go faster.

You have clearly never unplugged your computer and plugged it back in.

I assure you if you unplug it and plug it back in it will go faster, it should boot up in about 3 seconds if you plug it back in after about 5 minutes.

Not sure, you could try upping your RAM voltage to about 5.7v, I found it makes it a difference to stability and speed

Manufacturers don't know what they're doing at all sending us stock CPUs at ~1.3v, must be some kind of scam.

No way overclocking wasn't worth it at all. Would faster ram make a difference? I've been looking at this:

Yeah, that'd do the trick, but only if you get this: http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showp..."LGA771 Yorkfield" 3.20GHz (1600FSB) - Retail. Make sure when you get the new CPU and RAM to adjust the voltages as I specified above.

Hmm, from what I've read it doesn't use more than 2 cores and that's a quad so it shouldn't be necessary.
Would I need a new MB for that ram?

To play wow you need to buy at least this system

Also make sure you have a ball mouse. Everyone knows they are best for wow. Not optical or laser which can burn your desk or mat.

Don't forget you need to backup your hard drive. If you format you will loose your characters and have to start again. They 100% don't get saved on the server!

No you need to step away from the computer and stop trolling, although that's rather hypocritical coming from me.
Anyway, your rig, assuming it's not make believe in your head, is fine. In this instance it is user error that is causing problems.

You don't need to buy anything else, if it's running at 60fps turn off vsync if you so desire massive amounts more fps, although it is pointless, unless you are a pigeon.
