Not getting better is it....

I remember going to work in Liverpool city centre to cable up a Ladbrokes shop with my dad. He asked the manager where he was ok parking his car and he said park it anywhere because the traffic wardens have all been hospitalised.

I think that's what's often referred to as 'a joke'. :p

Taking everything on board, all decent replies really Bennah, Kensington isn't that bad.

There has been a few shootings and stuff but most parts have had that over the year, sadly in Toxteth its a 'normal' thing.

My brother has been held up in Kensington by a shotgun a few years back. I don't see Kenny as a threat however. Regardless of that

Others may find it very strange when moving there from outside, as if someone told me 'so and so got murdered' i'd be like, 'oh right, poor lad' but i can see outsiders saying 'OMG OMG nooooo' as it isn't a 'everyday situation'

That isn't stereotyping, that is what i have learnt, i went to college outside Liverpool and everyone is like 'wow' as some things are unbeleivable

Maybe so. People were going down no entry pedestrianised streets and parking on the kerb and nothing was done.

The bloke my dad was working with had been attacked unloading his van in broad daylight, twice.

Yeah i doubt its a joke, many companies or self employed people hate, and i mean hate coming here, minute they park and enter someones house the vans empty

Its crazy, walls that have been built, and gates put in place to block 'get a way' areas, aswell as police cameras across the streets just dont work.

How many of you knew that the Police Helicopter got moved from Liverpool Airport to Woodvale because Toxteth youths attacked it at the airport, the stuffs crazy.

The internet allows me to 'think' and an outsider sometimes, and it really does work and is an eye opener, the place is mad.
