not getting power?

i was taking out the floppy drive from my pc and now it wont turn on. i took the drive out fine. no probs. i took one cable out. no probs. hte other cable was going from the motherboard to... nothing. so i removed it and now my pc wont turn on. i put it back but still nothing. the psu powers up and the dvd readers flash but the cpu fan dosnt power up. ive tried replacing the floppy, swaping wires, everything. it wont power on. any ideas?
 
Double check all power connectors and components are firmly in place,you may of knocked something thing when removing the floppy.
I have done this a few times.
 
Yeah, check all the cables - as always!
Its probably the graphics card - make sure it is in correctly, ie take it out and put it back in. If that does not work, remove the ram and put it back one stick at a time.

Its possible that you discharged a bit of static onto the board, scrambling the Bios, so you might have to reset it. Did you have it overclocked per chance?
