I would drop you a quick update the status is (car has left the factory
today) so the car should be with me in about 2 weeks maybe less

I must admit the 911 has never done it for me in the 'supercar' sense but I guess you've already been there, done that with the 575 and nobody can argue that the 911 is not an incredibly accomplished car with stacks of heritage and fantastic engineering.

I looked at the options and ticked everything I wanted

I'm having a Tiptronic (faster than manual) with sports chrono pack, ceramic brakes lots of additional leather and carbon inside. It's going to look fab

Oh almost forgot. The stock exhaust is being replaced by a Tubi system straight away

so do conventional disks if you throw enough punishment at them.

Factory -> Porsche UK -> Dealer. All by road with probably days of waiting inbetween trips and excluding weekends. Thats 10 working days.
