Our old MD had a black 911 turbo a couple of years ago, absolutely loved it, though I wasn't convinced on his orange leather interior.
He then traded it in for a SL55, then that got booted for a Bentley Continental and a Golf R32......

Think it went due to lack of ability to drive it properly (not lack of Spie's ability, just that the wheels span as soon as someone breathed on the road).
I remember Spie looking at a Porsche just before he got his Ferrari... Was it a GT3? I think he cancelled due to being dicked around by the dealer for god knows how long.

Its a layer of hot pad deposited on the disk rather than the actual disk getting that hot.

Hi Spie, does your dealer do the driving experience days?
There is a dealer down here in Hatfield that brings all their new purchasers to Millbrook, for a two to three hour session on the tracks with a Porsche driving consultant. The new owners can then take their new purchase for a spin, (hopefully not literally), on the bowl, the alpine hill route, and the high speed handling circuit, so that they can get to know their purchase more thoroughly.

Spie, please please please make a decent video of it All the videos on the internet are useless. Get a mate to hold a video camera in the passenger seat and floor it on the motorway or something. I'd absolutely love to see a video showing the performance.

We are trying to get some days organised where the cost would be more reasonable, probably around £50 per person if we could guarantee at least 120 people, that would be for a days use of the track, most likely on a bank holiday sometime when the tracks are usually shut and not earning.
It is all very much up in the air at the moment and we are awaiting directors decision, personally speaking I think it is unlikely it will happen, but you never know.

That depends if I have it much longer because all of a sudden people seem to be getting interested and as such may not be long now until the beast finds a new caring owner. Need not worry whatever I replace it with will be just as nice.
Really looking forward to Spies car and I'll happily do the filming for him in the passenger seat.
