The plot thickens. I scrubbed and installed 186.03 (Latest 'official' one from nVidia direct) and had the same problem. Interestingly Dell's website offers the old 8700 SLi; the 8800M GTX SLi; and the 9800M drivers - no sign of my 8800M GTX
On a whim I tried the 185.20 drivers from LV2Go and it worked! Sort of...
I'm not getting too excited - I'm almost certain that I don't have the 8800M GTX SLi (without sounding incredibly ignorant, can anyone suggest a way to check?) - I had the 8700's (SLi) replaced and was told that it was a single 8800M GTX that went in...
Any idea what the 'other' 8800GTX could be?
I'm away for the week ATM so I'll have to perverse - I have been sorely tempted to do a fresh install for a while now - just trying to decide between Windows 7 x64 and Vista x64... tough choice...
