i get this msg from cold booting, when restarting windows i have no issues

“verifying DMI pool data disk boot failure, insert a system disc and press enter”

my computer is using sata and it seems like it fails to detect them from what i can see on the pre boot post, however if you hit the reset button on this msg the next time it sees the sata drives and loads correctly, any ideas peeps?

this is doing my head in!

Have you updated the BIOS to the latest level, there's an update which looks like it might help:

CheckSum:8500 Date: 01/21/2008
1. Fixed nVIDIA GeForce 8800GT cann't boot up issue.
2. Added IDE delay time item in BIOS for some HDD detect failed at cold boot first time.(Default set 4 seconds)
3. Fixed Optical Mouse 1.0A USB mouse will hang on P.O.S.T issue.
