ok just got a firewall ( Comodo Pro Firewall ) request to allow connection to the internet for 379ECE.vbe ....but i dunno what it is , and ive not seen or noticed it before , anyone got an idea what it is and if its ok or not ??, i did google but not much luck

An obfuscated VBScript file with a seemingly-random name? Could be anything - so presume it's hostile for now.

Here's what Microsoft has to say:

Script Encoder is not supported in Windows Vista or Windows 7.

If you can track it down and open the file in Notepad or Wordpad you may be able to discover what it does by decoding it.

hmm ok thanx j6....would it maybe be something to do with the fact that a virgin media guy was at my place today to put in a new superhub ?, ive just been told he called up something on my pc ( i had to go out ) im assuming he went on internet explorer
