Well, i have a Logitech Media keyboard sitting here never used in two years since i bought it. I've never used as i hated the keys on it, they felt too small, and i didn't like to shape of them and the keyboard too.

Basically i'm looking for something black that has solid decent size keys and aren't cheap and nasty and are in the standard key layout, i don't care about media buttons or anything fancy. I'm thinking i'd maybe be best to just go out and find one in a shop rather than order online as i'll be able to get what i want.

It will be used for gaming and the keyboard i previously used was just a cheapo one but felt so much better than the logitech one, i'm thinking of trying a microsoft one. But if you understnd what i'm saying and have an idea of a keyboard that would suit me that would be great.

P.s. i have big hands maybe that's the problem with the logitech. Also i just found a keyboard that may be what i want, but it's made by logitech so i'm worried the keys are going to be the same, but it's the Black classic keyboard by logitech.

I'm quite happy to recommend Microsoft keyboards as a general rule, I find the action to be really comfortable on every one I've ever tried and they last very well (my current one is 3+ years old). The main annoyance is that if you want the function keys you have to press the "F Lock" button and that is pretty trivial overall. Do try before you buy though if you can. :)

My MS keyboard...

Its a beauty, no problems for games, very comfortable to use - so much so that I bought a second one for use in work. can't recommend it enough.
That's really not something i'm looking for, i just want something basic and standard. Although i don't doubt it's probably good, but before i knock it i'm gonna try some keyboards in some shops tomorrow.

As always i'm with Semi pro on this MS all the way.....

P.S. the comfort curve doesnt have F Lock and the ergo 4000 has it turned off by default... but i'm sure you knew that... ;)

Nor it does, the picture on the OcUK website was too small to read the keys. I wasn't aware about the Ergo 4000 either but then I have only used it briefly so I didn't need the F Lock anyway. :)
