Probably true, but only midgets, if I ate one of those beasts you'd feel it crawling back out

You would probably choke to death:)

BTW Huntsmans can leave pretty bad scares if they bite and it hurts like buggery if you do get bitten:p

Did anyone see that bit in The Blue Lagoon (no not that bit!) where the old geezer died, and when the kiddlewinkles found him, they poked him with a stick and a CRAB came out of his mouth? Well that scared the hell out of me when I was a kid...:o

Anything with more legs than a cow should be hunted down and doused in lynx deodorant before being set alight. If you're gonna go, at least go smelling nice!

Christ almighty, if i ever go to australia im gonna smuggle an ak47 in with me to take care of 8 legged friends.

who's scared of spiders it's the woodlice that will kill us all :eek

That's an isopod, they live deep under the ocean. As long as they stay there, I'm all for them.

When I see a spider like that, the rational part of me thinks "ooh, a huntsman spider, they're pretty cool and essentially harmless". However that's totally drowned out by 200,000 years of instinct screaming OMG KILL IT KILL IT KILL IT!

Why are people so scared of spiders :s

I can understand it (and would be too) if it were a lethal/poisonous spider, but why do people who KNOW the spider is harmless still want to kill / run away from them :/

Spiders eat flies etc = spiders are good :)

I like spiders, hell we get enough of them here but i still dont want the bugger to bite me even if i know it's not poisonous, it'll ******* hurt!!!

Scary lookin spider ! What happens to spiders when you hoover them up? I'm sure ive did it before lol do they just end up squished up in amongst all the dust? :o
