Note 4 getting slow apps keep closing

Apps keep closing while in the background some time they are happy to stay open for 12 hours other times they have closed and open new..

Has anyone bothered to try a factory reset? Did it make things better?

Call me a conspiracy nut but im sure with each OS update my phone gets slower.. I'm sure if I could factory rest back to original OS it would be much faster..

No loops but it may have restarted by itself a few times over the last few months but no more than 5 or 6 times

It's possible it might be developing the mmc_read fail problem which is the most common form of Note 4 failure.

Wake Lock on Setting 4, PARTIAL_WAKE_LOCK will help if it is the mmc_read fail problem at the expense of slightly increased battery life but only delays the inevitable.

I'd guess that each update thrashes the eMMC more than normal so accelerates degradation.
