Sorry if this has been covered but I'm in a rush to sort it out!

I've had my phone stolen (In Tenerife)

Its a Note 4 with the latest Android.

I'm on SIM only payment and have reported the Phone Stolen (SIM is blocked)

The phone has fingerprint security enabled.

I cannot contact the phone so assume it is off...

What else should I do to report the phone Stolen?

The phone was not bought from the SIM card supplier, but I have the IMEI and serial number...

Thanks,

Get the IMEI blocked as well. Not sure who does that, but pretty sure you can contact your network to do it. I guess you didn't have Prey or anything that might provide some entertainment like another thread here recently? :D

Send the factory reset command from here: https://www.google.com/android/devicemanager

This will also lock the phone and prevents it from working unless they know your Google login details.

Phone appears to be off so the above won't connect...

I assume the Finger Print log in will stop them accessing the phone

I guess there is a way for them to reset the phone (will volume up and holding the power button or similar do this? Although my data will be lost?).

Cheers

As soon as it gets an internet connection, it will receive it, erase the phone, and locks the phone to an unusable state that cannot be used unless logged in with your Google account.

Yes, they just need to enter recovery mode and it will factory reset the phone, but the internal storage will usually be left untouched.
