Are they any good?

Can get a 3a for £200 or 4a for £400.

I've had a Nothing Phone (2) since it launched and have been very happy with it. No issues to mention, and software updates and patches are reasonably timely considering they're not a massive company, although it does seem to have slowed a bit now that they have a larger range of devices. I reallly like Nothing OS too, it's very polished and customisable.

They appear to be a solid choice.

Recently, when sizing up what phone to select, the 4a Pro was among the ones I was seriously considering.

Major drawback for me is the fact that they only have 256GB onboard, and no way to expand it.

I was tempted and really like Nothing OS but found the phones a bit too large when I tried them in store, was one reason why I went with the smaller Pixel phone instead. The reviews for the 4a Pro does look solid though.

I did a GSMarena and Versus comparison between the Pro and a Samsung S25U and the Samsung blows it out of the water.
When you think you can get a used S25U for the same price there's no contest.

I mention a used S25U because it's time for an upgrade methinks then Mrs can have my S23U.
I spent too long avoiding Samsung by having every other make then realised just go Samsung.
