Hi there,

May I ask what monitor you are using?

It looks like you currently have the DVI cable connected to the single-link DVI-D port. Depending on what your monitor is it may be better to move it over to the dual-link DVI-I port on the left.

Yeah as I did the same thing when rebuilding a couple of times, looks like you have your dvi cable connected to the wrong output on your card:D, change it to the upper most one as if it was mounted in a case it would be the top one.

edit, now I see your above post lo, board looks fine mate, it's powered up.

Its not the DVI ive tried both just to make sure that was not the problem,It should not matter which one you use anyway both should give output to the monitor.

Im still not having any luck with this board. :/

Do you know if the latest BIOS is installed to this board Ivan?...i see you had an i5 installed,I have an i7 860.

Yea, they should both give output - but to get 120Hz working you need to use the left connection, as the right-hand single-link DVI doesn't have enough bandwidth for 1080p@120Hz.

As for the BIOS, the i7 860 one of the release LGA1156 CPUs, so even with the earlier BIOS it should work fine with your chip.

Looking at the photos I can't see any connection problems with the motherboard. Does the dubug LED panel (the 7 segment displays) ever say anything when you press the power-on button?

Its funny because the Debug LED panel by the OC genie button,Nothing shows on it at all..its never light up/tells you anything like in the second picture.

Yeah i thought it should be lit up but as you can see from the picture nothing,I did clear Cmos with power lead connected..tried several times. :/

Ahh, that could be the problem, you are meant to disconnect all power to the board, it says so in the manual, if power is connected you could cause damage:(

I cant see how resetting the Cmos would damage the board,Btw i did not reset the cmos with it running,Only when its turned off..but the thing is that LED Debug panel has not shown anything at all even on the first run.

Yea, when resetting the CMOS you should turn the power off at the PSU (and do it after the LEDs on the board turn off).

In fact in the manual it does mention G3 power state - which means the computers power has been removed by a mechanical switch.

No guys,I did reset the cmos with the power lead connected BUT i turned it off at the wall before doing so,I did see that power state thing in the manual.

That Debug LED has never shown me anything, even when i first put together the system and on first switch on the LED never came on.
