Noticeable difference between SSD speeds...

There's quite a difference between the write speeds of an OCZ Vertex 3 (Read 550MB/s, Write 500MB/s) and an Intel ElmCrest (Read 500MB/s, Write 315MB/s).

Does anyone have any experience of using both? Is this difference actually noticeable?

I've got an Intel ElmCrest coming next week so I'll be able to see how that compares to the OCZ Vertex 3. :)
250GB Intel 510 "ElmCrest" now fitted. :)

Offical figures:
Read 500 MB/s, write 315 MB/s.

ATTO run:

real world usage you'll hardly notice the difference
I know but it's reassuring to know that both this and the OCZ are making the claimed figures. :)

I would however know right away if someone put a mechanical disk, the difference is that great.
I'm still running my RAID0 Velociraptors in this system and they now seem sluggish and noisy compared to the silent awesomeness of the SSDs. :D
