Noticeable Speed Boost?

Hi, would I see a noticeable increase in speed going from an old 80GB Seagate Barracuda (SATA) to a Hitachi 250GB SATA II drive? The rest of my comp is pretty high spec(Asus A8n Deluxe, A64 3500+, 2GB RAM, 7800GT)

I thought not but having looked at some benchmarks on storagereview I'm now wondering whether this would be a worthy upgrade to increase boot time, game load times etc. The extra capacity would be useful as well obviously

Not much of an increase. 10MB/s read roughly, but the extra capacity is good as you said.

50Mb/s for 80GB compared to 60MB/s for 250GB (estimated).
