But 'knock' is a verb, right? Not a noun. Or is 'knock' slang for a drink? I know 'knocking back' is but that's still a verb.

Can it not make the tea itself? Presumably if it can knock on a cupboard it can manipulate physical objects. Maybe it's just very lazy. What if it wants milk and sugar?
