Now thats what I call... fancy dress!

3 years ago my best mate and his bird came out as Peter Pan and Tinkerbell.

We'd not talked about fancy dress beforehand and they'd not mentioned their plans.

He turns up in green tights and she's in a white ballerina style frilly dress.

We're all in jeans.

He still hasn't forgotten that night :p

The moral of the story is that if you're all dressed up you won't stick out whatever you're wearing, so don't worry about wearing tights or any of that :)

lol but seriously, im really skinny and these just make it worse, its a super hero theme and robin hood was the closest costume i could find to superhero that wasnt out of stock etc :p

I thought it was a tape measure thing like schools have.

Still doesn't explain why it is required for a 70's night, mind.

cd case for the limo :)

I need to dress up tonight actually, it's a 'be whatever you want night'. I was thinking frank sinatra

We got invited to a fancy dress party couple of years ago, 60s 70s 80s theme. Went to the local fancy dress shop to find other people also going picking out all the Beatles costumes and that... So to be different we went as Batman and Superman :D (cos we were both too big for the Robin costume)

I did the three musketeers thing a few years back. The costume was very similar to yours, but was dark red rather than blue. T'was a good laugh, and the duels in the nightclub were funny, not least because I'd sharpened my sword and the other guys hadn't :D

ah ffs i have my robin hood costume now but my hair has got a lot thicker since i wore it and the dam hat doesnt fit me any more and won't go on my head, argh

its the same as this hat and i cannot stretch it etc =[
