anyone know if they will change it to the new virgin one or does that apply when you are a new customer

what about the menus, if they dont change the box will they uprgrade the UI with a software upgrade like they did before

They are rebranding the UI area by area at the moment I believe.

I do not think they have any plans to change the actual STB's though.

lets hope the new menu isnt that yucky blue or blanc and yellow! id also like to see it being a tad quicker. only time will tell

the new menu is black and yellow but its the box that speeds it up. My old Pace box was slooow but the new samsung I have is lightning quick. Got V+ installed next week so interesting to see how fast that will be.

i have the 'scientific atlanta' V+ box, it's probably on a par with sky boxes and have the same menu setup as the samsung boxes. I've not really had chance to play with it yet though coz it's set up in the room that i'm currently decorating but that should hopefully be finished by wednesday :D

V+ has a slight lag on menu but it's certainly no worse than my parents sky box. Code downloads are still going on regularly to improve performance as well so it's looking good. In over a year i've onlyhad one major glitch though the odd squeek is creeing in now and again on recordings. The new box's are no different to the old ones appart from the logo and ui, so no hardware upgrades are likley (they still install older pace box's after they are reworked/butchered)
