I've had it happen before but the difference this time was that it wasn't the windows drive that the file went missing on, it was my storage drive.dmpoole said:I've had this happen several times.
Put the drive as a slave on another PC and just boot in.
For some strange reason when you put the drive back it works
Just noticed its LINUX, I've only ever been able to do it with XP.

I couldn't do this with XP from a floppy because my hard drive is NTFS and an error comes up.
