but i dont think you can select ntp and dst. Is that what you mean?NTP doesn't typically offer TZ data and anything relating to daylight savings is typically set on the device itself (and/or the device handles that based on set timezone/location); so NTP server shouldn't really matter for that, just as long as it's reliable for syncing.
And certainly with the few CCTV and IP cameras i've used, there's usually a load of settings ('last X day of X month' and adjustment to time etc) to apply daylight savings.
mine doesnt but wanted somehting to update it automatically like the alarms are updated through a server etc..NTP is always z.
It's sensible.
There will be a setting in the software somewhere, if it doesn't change to DST automatically.
