Ntune overclocking

Is it safe to overclock my AMD 6000+ X2 3.015Ghz dual core CPU in Nvidias Ntune, it seems to only go abit on the slider, but i wont accept just incase, it boosts my RAM speed aswell, and other stuff, check my Xfire for specs, the RAM is this

also how can i de-restrid my GPU to clock it more? its an MSI NX8800GT, clocked at 663/950

In the latest version of nTune you can set a time limit and allow the software to automatically tune your pc to its limits...apparently. I did find that when playing games my system would start to mess up so i put the settings in nTune back to default. I normally just play with the BIOS and overclock hardware myself.

I never got ntune to work, it always froze the computer and ended up never actually overclocked anyting for me

HI. I use ntune to monitor my computer but it is useless for o/clocking.
Just o/clock via your bios is safest and best method.
