Server Administrators and Providers will be happy to know that.....

Dedicated server files for Linux and Windows are now available for download through hldsupdatetool and Steam, more information can be found on:

or

The client files will unlock and be ready to install later today.

Anyone got a server to spare?

Looks like it may be an issue with linux servers atm. I've tried spamming the cvar several times in the config file (back in the day L4D used to need this for certain things). Maybe it'll work now.

This game deserves more publicity/buzz than it is getting, especially as an Indie title.

The gameplay is very solid and maps are huge.

It just seems that its release date is stuck between some VERY strong/BIG releases and as we all know, Autumn is when the releases really start to ramp up.

RO2 has been getting a LOT of attention and despite its issues, it is one amazing game however this title also needs to be considered for those who like tactical shooters.

They seem to be a very good dev who have been working very hard to fix any issues and improve the overall game, IMO, it would be a big shame if this game just fell off of the radar.

We moan about the lack of good PC exclusives and when they come along like this, they need to be supported.

Having played the beta I've cancelled my pre-order. It feels stiff, bland and lacking finesse. The combat is clunky, the interface distracting and to top it all off it's one of the most buggy betas I've ever played. So buggy in fact you can't even uninstall it via Steam you just have to delete the files! :p

Disappointed :(

Anyone fancy a game on this tonight?

We could get a group together...the "feverishly waiting for bf3 to release" group.

Or BF3 Fever for short.

Out of curiosity, is this game getting a box (store) release?

My mate is stuck in the dark ages and prefers buying hard copies, anyone know?

Hmm its OK I guess.

Its not a very pretty game so it moves at a brisk pace like the twitch shooters of old.

Its like a hybrid of team fortress classic with the commander system from bf2 if anyone is interested in buying it.

Gun textures are disgusting, the rest of the game looks functional.

Classes are assault, stealth, heavy and medic. They are exactly as you would expect.

You unlock weapons just like pretty much any new fps.

I'm giving it 8/10
