Well I was running a 6400, Asus P5BD, 2GB RAM... And I'd managed to beat your score. Got 11728. I have a screenshot of it.. But unfortunately my motherboard has now fried itself.

Thats the third P5BD that I will of had to RMA! Was running my CPU at 3.76GHz when it gave up the ghost. Can even see the component that has gone. I wasn't even running the voltages that high.

Now I'm stuck on my crappy lappy.. Don't think I'll be beating any scores on this. :(

Haven't had a good week for hardware failures. I bought a 2900XT last weekend which turned out to have dodgy memory so that has been RMA'd. The X1900XT I sold died on the guy I sold it to, so I had to give him a refund and get that RMA'd too. My old 21" CRT I gave my parents when I bought a new TFT died on my mum on Wednesday, and now this board has crapped out on me. :mad:

2nd still mine, lucky for me ;) ul tho m8

i might be able to beat 11728 : / my score was with my comp at my normal stable running speed, had its at 3.74 but took a while to get the settings right, cant really be bothered, ull have to get your new mobo and post your score to push me ;) reckon i could get much more with my 320W peltier on it? : / again EFFORT!

Hehe, pelts are cheating.. Mines only on water! :p

I'll dig out my usb harddrive mathingy tomorrow and copy the screeny off my harddrive to my lappy so I can upload it somewhere.

Hmm.. Need to find a VGA cable now so I can hook this up to my proper monitor. Its doing my head in using this tiny screen!

lol dont know any 6420's to get far over 3.8 personally, well any where near stable enough to run nuclearus :P git :)
so thats a confident no :D

well if i build up the energy to fit my peltier to my e6420 i may give it a go :)

bad luck!

i hate days like that, best of luk egtting it all sorted.

on the plus side, you have a lot of new shineys comming, it will be like a whole new pc and im sure a new gfx will sell better than used!

think of it like this: you just had a lot of bad stuff happen, must be something really good on its way now!

Not tried any higher but 4Ghz is with 1.4750 so there will probs be more in her yet.

Temps are 42c idle at 4Ghz tho.

round of applause....that's a fine increase there roy.....smokin' :) not literally I hope :D

I remember a guy pushin' a similar M 2500+ to 3.6ghz on phase a couple of years back.....you should look into WC bud. Even if you do upgrade, a core like that.....it's a shame to let it sleep :(
 
i was jut working on my old 2500 mobile... got 39xx at 2560ish (12.5*205) then it reset :'(

ill try again tomorrow. first xp past 4000 maybe???
