Nude in public

Was reading the following BBC news story

And it got me thinking, what's so bad about being naked outside? We all have the same bits etc.

Sure if this couple started getting jiggy with it in a town centre or something, but all they're actually doing is going hiking

I certainly wouldn't want to be in Scotland without clothes at this time of year but I don't see a problem with it if all they were doing was hiking.

Exactly. We're led to believe that nudity is a terrible thing. Remember the fuss over Janet Jackson's "wardrobe malfunction"?

Meanwhile, plenty of other cultures get by without the same panic about nudity. Hell, there's plenty that barely wear anything at all and they manage.

I wouldnt jail people for ambling about naked, if they want to do it, all power to them. As long as they arent doing anything sexual, or hes walking along with "wood" I dont really see how it is indecent. Everyones going to have seen a blokes wang, or a womans parts before they die anyway what difference does a few extra viewings make?

Poor bloke must have been freezing up in the North of Scotland though.

When the police ask them to put clothes on she does, but he doesn't. That's why she isn't arrested. The courts are quite leniant with them if they just put some clothes on. Of course they just take em off again two roads further on.

If a woman sees a naked man in his garden, the man is committing indecent exposure.

If a man sees a naked woman in her garden, he is a peeping tom.

That's how it seems to work anyway... gotta love the double standards of our society.
