Number plate question

It works on motorbikes with only a back plate though, so i cant see the problem.

ran with no front plate on my RST for over a year and never had one bit of interest from the police inc on 2 traffic stops for other offences.

But it wouldn't if the camera is facing the vehicle concerned.

So just the same as with motorbikes then yeah?

It seems that only DM understood my earlier point so I'll try again. Why are motorbikes only required to have a rear number plate yet cars are required to have front and rear?

Bikes used to have metal front plates that faced sideways but they tended to rip open the riders head when they fell over the handlebars. It would have been nice to have had the law changed stating front plates were no longer required before they started with all these front facing speed cameras. It's not like that is going to happen now is it?
