Number plates - Different construction?

I have a constant problem on the VX as the number plate is just above the exhaust meaning that within a matter of months the backing starts to peel off due to the heat.

The only ones I've seen which I think may not be a problem are the ones EyeDot had on his 911 where the letters were raised sections of carbon fibre, these kind don't look fantastic but may or may not solve the problem.

Does anyone have any other ideas? Ideally I need the reflective film layered between two layers of plastic rather than just stuck to the back of one.

My front one is like that, but in standard font, I can't remember where I bought it from though so not much help.

i think in which case your still going to have the same problem

he means that it looks like the number plate which can commonly be found on the back of a lorry (truck).

Off-centre plates are never a good look, and that includes Evo's and Alfa's that come with them as standard.
