I'm in the process of porting my number from o2 to orange. From this morning I could make outgoing calls and texts from my new orange phone on my ported number. However, incoming calls and texts are still delivered to my old o2 phone. Also, I called my land line from both mobiles and the caller ID displayed the same number for both calls. Is this all normal?

Have you turned the phones off.

Turn phones off for a say 5 - 10 mins. Then turn your new phone on see if that helps.

Some times it can take a few hours to sort.

It is normal on the transfer day yes. As said try and turn both phones off for an hour or so and eventually the old phone will say sim not recognised or words to that affect.

Is today your port date? If so, this is normal.

The porting process runs up to between 1600/1700 depending on the network. If after this time the fault is still there then get in contact with new network and they'll chase up the transfer.
