Just wondering what causes the numbness feeling in your limbs after a massive long tiring night out with loads of Vodka? I dont mean drunkeness. Im talking about the weird numb, tingly feeling that you get in your arms etc the day after the night out? Is it a combination of Fatigue and alcohol toxins leaving the body?

is it in one limb? if so it could be saturdaynight palsy, basically its severe pins and needles when youve fallen asleep in a drunken stupure on one linmb, usually an arm. can be very serious but usually recovers.

lol, I had at work once, I fell asleep on my chair during my lunch break, woke up 30 mins later and my entire left leg was numb, I couldn't feel it, I couldn't move it, and when I tried to move it I got the most insane pins and needles ever. Took me about 10 mins to recover.

Have often been 'tired and emotional' (the euphemism in this household) after a night on the Vodka, but never suffered from any numbness. Memory loss, check, eyes like ****-holes in the snow, check, mouth recently carpeted, check, numbness, nope.

I don't think this is vodka related, I get a similar feeling every morning. (I sleep with my left arm under the pillows with my head on top) takes a good 3-4 hours for it to feel 'all there' again

Due to nerve compression when you put pressure under your armpit or any nerve really. Most of the time it goes away but in really really rare situations, it can be a lot less temporary...
I gave myself this while in the car once, was a passenger in a mates convertible and had my right arm slung over behind the drivers headrest, 30 mins later, tried to move my arm but all I got was serious pins and needles and most of the power in my arm went. Recovered after 10 mins. (and no, I didn't bash one out whilst sat in the car with a numb arm)
