"Since Letby left the hospital's neonatal unit, there has been only one death in seven years."
Well she could have spared the entire trial by pleading guilty at the point she was arrested.I am not at all on her side, to me it seems pretty clear cut.
But what is the advantage in releasing her identity? The media are now doing guilt by association, some echos of the Joanna Yeates case where they accused the wrong person.
Extra punishment basicallyThat's slightly irrelevant to what I asked. Why is naming her so important? Just keep her anonymous.
That's on her for not admitting to what she did.Yes but her family and friends aren't guilty. And they are being treated as if they are.
You say that but shame culture works in Japan, it's not perfect, but seems there's a lot less crime. This is a pathetic response. Her family and friends aren't guilty!
Do you think her parents knew about this? Seems highly likely she would have discussed it with them.Just watching the Panorama on this.
Can't believe, that the 7x paediatricians had managed to successfully have her removed from the neonatal unit, only for her to raise a grievance against them - forcing them to apologise to her in writing.
Insane to think what one relationship could have triggered a person to then go and do. Whoever that man is, he unleashed something...Only vague other factor seems to that it brought her into contact with a doctor that she had some kind of relatioship with.
Are there shankings in female prisons? Probably very different to any male prison in the UK.I was fully expecting her to get shanked in prison, and then found utterly innocent 20 years after her demise.
