So, at the office on Friday, we started getting a lot of calls asking about a dog which we supposedly had for sale.

After a bit of questioning of one of the callers, we managed to establish they'd seen the advert on Friday Ad, using one of those spoofed phone numbers which forwards to your actual number (obviously they'd typed in our number accidentally).

I contacted FridayAd to ask them to remove our number, and also as the lovely upstanding citizen I am, emailed the seller just to let her know the number was wrong.

Yesterday I got a reply:

You might want to check with FridayAd, just to make sure they have the correct contact number for you.

I've now gotten in this morning, and have another reply, this time with 22 pictures.

It's quite clear from the replies that this is "harvesting" set up, a scam, most likely run from abroad. Uses wrong phone number on purpose to divert all enquiries to email.
 
Please give me your national insurance number so I can be sure the puppies will have a good home :) The last 4 digits of your debit card would help too.
