Nvidia 3060 release date

depends on how much profit it will earn. if it is 300 for the base model. and bag 50 - 80 quid a month which isnt out of the possibilty they will be gone instantly.
According to my calculations it will do 45MH/s - 25% less. So at current prices the 3060 would have to be lower than £405, taking £539 as the current price for 3060 Ti, for it to be a better deal.

The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 has been given a late-February release date, where it will launch with a price tag of £299. will be interesting to see how it actually turns out lol.

If the 3060 sells at £450 as shown on many retailers sites at the moment (they could be place holder prices) and performs about the same as a 5700xt then it will not be much different to the Turing 2060, offering better ray tracing but performance similar or worse than the previous generation in terms of cost per frame, particularly when comparing the 5700xt. Be interesting when the reviews come out

Closer to £499.

The FE cards will be £299. Same as the 3060 Ti is £369, the 3070 is £469, and the 3080 is £649. These cards haven't received any mark-up through the official sales channel.

AIB cards, and anything purchased through third parties, are a whole other matter.

Don't think there is going to be a 3060FE sure its already been said

Won't be any fe cards. Price hikes for the lot of them, sadly.

Wow. I missed that.

This is going to be one weird card. Zero chance of any of them costing less than a Ti FE. And odds-on the bulk are more expensive than the 3070 FE. Mental.

Just get a 3090 if you can, you'll definately get one before a 3060, no hope in hell of getting one of those unless you strap yourself to your PC 24/7. The economics, and demand for these little worker bees is way beyond common sense, miners will buy these buy the pallet load, and NV will sell to them, Scalpers will hold you ransom buy removing your oppotunity to purchase one. There will have to be new laws brought in to stop this madness, although our gov does encourage an open market.

y mining is out of hands. i have a feeling 3060 wont be able to buy all the way to next year. want 300£ card. 1060 ther u go.

It's the tory dreamscape, the masses held to ransom by modern day piracy or the "free market" as it is laughably called. Everyone fighting each other for over-priced scaps. Wait until these market conditions for GPU's start seeping into other areas of the e "con" omy...

What economic system do you think would rectify the current scarcity relative to the current demand?

One that better regulates free markets numerous excesses, one that regulates scalping, one that regulates retailer scalping, one that outlaws bitcoin mining given it's utterly worthless and destructive nature...

Do you mean something that mankind has yet to come up with?

You seem to be unhappy with free markets. Do you think you would be happy with any of the other systems?
