nvidia 3d vision

I think the 3D will pick up a lot more when they make bigger 120 Hz monitors. Until then, most people won't buy it, especially if they have a 24" plus monitor. Makes to sense to downgrade to 22" just for 3D.

Ya I actually upgraded from a 20" to a 22" though & i'm now using a multi monitor :)

Also a thing to remember with these LCD TV's that are 120hz at the moment is they don't accept signals at 120hz so aren't fully compatible (taken from Nvidia them selves) they need to be "3D Ready"

The only thing great about the monitor is the 120Mhz. it benefit the FPS gamers.
The 3D itself is too gimickyfor me... I can't imagine myself wearing that bulky thing for hours, besides I wear glasses, it would be most inconvenient to have them both on.

If it is any good and I got it, I would probably be a danger in WoW - waving my arms about instinctivly!!

Not 100% true, nvidia have just chosen the most expensive way forward, there are many other cheaper options that they could've taken.

Like what? You need a 120hz monitor for polarized 3d, you need these special glasses with the sensor to adapt the polarization to the fps on screen.

yea, id like to buy it, and always have wanted to (looked into the zalmans previously) but i already had a 22" then, and now ive got a 30". The whole time i was reading the article thinking about "its a portal" and the fact that my 30" is such a large amount of my viewpoint, meaning it would feel much more like it was my view point. Bring on new tech, multi monitors, with 3D. I NEEDS ITS!!
