Well you can spend $1999 to get a nice adapter and use it on your 4090

Dont know whether its just my age (imminently 40) or its genuinely the slow down in pace but I certainly miss tech launches being exciting.

As someone getting to that milestone in a week I concur! I think it's a combination of the two. RDNA2 was pretty cool as I don't think many were expecting that level of performance after AMD had only competed in the mid/low end the gen before.

Exactly. People complain about GN and sure, some of the things he does are a bit cringe and he does sound like Kermit the frog.

But as you point out, he buys the cards himself and these are the people I want to hear from.
