I am happy with my Nvidia 5070Ti but like many am a sucker for a upgrade if something comes along. If i was to updrade what would be the next jump up in real world performance without spending like 2.5k :D
 
We're at least a year away from having what you're after and it won't be a Nvidia GPU.

The replacement for the AMD 9070XT with RDNA 5 architecture should take you well past 5070Ti/5080 performance for under £1000.

From what I've read 5080s overclock meaningfully more than 5070tis so if you can find the right deal and you really want a bit more performance then a 5080 might be worth considering.

Ive been umming and arring over a 5080 myself but id be coming from a 4080 Super.

There is some truth to what @sgoaty has said, most reviewers use the FE edition as a reference from what I gather.

A good aftermarket card with ample cooling and an overbuilt board etc can probably net another 10-20% on top of the "OC" pages on the review websites, but it's very much a case of silicone lottery as you might imagine and you'd be looking at well over a grand to get that sort of card on top.

It's a hefty gamble and imo simply not worth it when you're on something like a 4070tis, 4080(s), or 5070ti. I suppose you could try your luck and just return the card within the two week window if it doesn't push hard enough, but is that worth the faff?

If you really want uplift and have MM access, pop in a request for a 4090 and see if you strike lucky or otherwise it's simply not worth it, a few models should even have warranty leftover that most sellers on here are happy to work with.

The 5080 release from NV is criminal tbh, if they'd pushed the clocks higher and offered more memory on a higher bus I'd probably have bought one myself, a 320bit 20gb or 384bit 24gb would have resulted in a legitimately good card.

How much is going rate for a 4090 these days.
 
Honestly mate, if you're already rocking a 5070 Ti, you are in a proper sweet spot for performance right now.

If you really have the itch to upgrade without selling a kidney for a 5090, the only step up that actually makes sense in the real world is the **5080**. It will give you a noticeable bump in frame rates at 4K and maxed out ray tracing without completely draining your bank account.

Anything less than that is just a sidegrade and a waste of your hard earned cash. Personally, I would hold fire for a bit since your current card is already a beast, but if you absolutely must spend some money, the 5080 is the one to look at.

5080 makes no sense at all from a 5070ti.
