Sometimes I just need the latest, like the dual 6gb Titans I bought sometime ago. So get your insults out of the way like waste of money etc :D and help me with some considerations.

Will the 880 cards perform better than my Titans? Reason I ask is theyre due to be launched December so wondering whether I should sell my Titans?

Im not fully clued up on GPU's so not sure what other cards are out there that are better than the 2 Titans I have but hey, im sure you'll educate me :)

The only thing out is rumors so nobody knows, next thing is if it is real it will be on 28nm so will only ever so slightly faster than anything now.

These going to be FULL DX 12?

Apparently so :)

As for the opening post, I would expect the start of 2015 before the bigger guns start to roll out, so it is down to you on what you do. Sell now, grab a cheap card for gaming or sell when the cards are upon us for a loss but carry on enjoying high end gaming till then.

I'm hoping it will be at least 30% faster than a 780Ti otherwise it'll be a bit pointless to users who have one or 4GB 770 SLI and 780 SLIs.

Let's hope the rumors of a 256bit 28nm 880 with less cuda cores than a 780 Ti are rubbish and they magically find a way to release the 880 on 20nm.

Yes they will be faster than your titans, how much faster we will have to wait and see.

Unless you are in need of two rather expensive paper weights or have another machine to put them in, then yes sell your titans, when best to do so is still unknown at the moment.

Other cards that are better than the titans you have.

Nvidia single cards. 780ti, titan black. dual card titan Z

AMD single card r9 290x. dual card r9 295x2

(obviously you would need 2 of the single cards to beat your currant SLI performance.)

All of the above is just my opinion, and in no way to be considered absolute fact.

Hardly call a 8800GT legendry esp. as it had 3 variants to get it good (320MB & 640MB then refresh with 512MB), the 8800GTX legendry then yes.

Not one to be pedantic, but I think you'll find you're talking about the GTS not the GT ;) The 8800GT only ever had 512MB or 1GB what with its 256 bit memory interface. The earlier 8800GTS had a 320 bit wide bus and came in 320MB and 640MB form. There was a later GTS which came with 512MB 256 bit and 128 shader processors, not to be confused with the 8800GT with its 112 shader processors. Incidentally the 8800GT was considered at its time to be a bit of a legendary card as it had a lot of bang for buck, probably the last nvidia card you could say that about tbh :p

I wonder what the pricing will be like this time around, If they bring the prices back to the normal system then I may upgrade again, The way it stand at the moment i refuse to have the **** ripped out of my wallet lol
