Nvidia 97.92's - Is it possible to enable the "Classic Control Panel" + more question

Pretty much as the title states.

Is there any way of turning back on the classic control panel? I am using an 8800 series card, with Windows XP SP2 Pro.

If I enable it, can you to overclocking via Coolbits? I am currently using Rivatuner for my overclocking needs.

Thanks in advance :)

You need to install nTune for the 'Performance' options to appear in the new Control Panel. Then you can adjust clock speeds and set the fan speed in the new control panel.

Thanks :)

That was excellent :)

*EDIT*

A strange thing this but related to Drivers.

Why in the name of GOD can;t I chose 1280x720 for games? I really like playing counter strike at that resolution, as I like playing it at low res.

I cant do it. Under wide screen, I get the option of 1600x900 or 1680x1050.

(I am using a Dell 2007FPW and a Philips 20" widescreen on dual monitors).

I remembered that the old NV CP allowed you to make custom resolutions, but it wont let me add them.

Any suggestions? I want my low resolution options back!

I even tried to force it in CS launch optioons. That don't work out to well for me. It defaults the game to 640x480!

1280x720 is a 16:9 resolution, 1650x1080 or 1440x900 are 16:10, just change the aspect ratio in the display options to 16:9 and you should then get the relevant options for 1280x720 etc.

just go advanced under desktop properties, select geforce 8800 series and select classic nvidia controll panel.
Then you can apply coolbits and oc like usual.

Why nvidia ever changed the controll panel is beyond me, i absolutly hate the new ones and it takes ages to get something done on them, classic nvidia panel for the win.

I don't mind the new cp, a change is welcome, its just some of the features from the old cp are not visible in the new one so i have to use both so i can can have 16x aa and desktop features.
