NVIDIA ‘Ampere’ 8nm Graphics Cards

Without reading through pages of posts - Do we know when these are being released? Any info on specs/pricing?

No, we have pages and pages of speculation based on previous years and fantasy performance metrics. Nothing concrete at all, except that Nvidia are going to release a consumer version of ampere at some point which shares a lot of the architecture with the datacentre version.

That's literally it for confirmed, official info.

Smashing cheers, I'll await the official release then, whenever that may be.

You want to double that, as i reckon the Ampere Titan will be about 3k, as they keep going up every release, the last one was 2.5k. :p

The last one was only expensive cause there was no new Tesla lineup last year - but this time Tesla is launching first so it wouldn't make sense to price a Ampere Titan like a Tesla Ampere card.

You seem to be quite forgetful lately, maybe get some more sleep?

But since you asked nicely, for the 10th time here: https://bit.ly/2Xm947j

Strangely enough I had already googled it before I asked the question and to my disgust after listening to the original Turing launch, there are still hardly any released games.

It is so bad that if Turing users launched a class action against NVidia for false advertising they would have a reasonable chance of winning.

Turing, worst NVidia product ever.

Buying Turing is like paying £50 for a hammer, it works but what is the point.

I’ll give you £50 for your RTX Titan Kaaps :p

CoD, Battlefield, Minecraft, Metro Exodus.

But sure, no worthwhile games, no popular games in there. And it's not like there were also advances in the AI/ML part of the cards, and a raw performance increase too. Oh wait, there were all of those things!

Don't forget Control. Playing that every evening at the moment.
