One thing is for certain if the new 7nm GPU`s are going to be that good Nvidia will want to make sure they have shifted all of the old stock of RTX cards. So closer to the date keep a look out for Gibbo doing some big price drop special's ![Big Grin :D :D](/styles/default/xenforo/vbSmilies/Normal/biggrin.gif)

Just hoping Nv give us proper cards from the start this time and not milk for Super rubbish again.
3070 will be looking tasty for 1440p if it's at least 2080Ti perf.. Hoping more but not sure that's gonna happen.

Ehh, refreshed have always existed and with the cost of new architectures combined with the slower pace of new manufacturing nodes then refreshes will become even more important.
I much rather have Nvida's obvious refresh naming scheme so you know a 2070 super is just a refreshed 2070 rather than AMD's unhand tactic of rebranding a 290 a 390 or a 480 a 580 then a 590 which a purposely confusing to consumers.
They already have, called them Supers![]()
Well not or a 1080 ti owner, 2080 ti is simply not worth it for the performance increase.
https://www.kitguru.net/components/...-will-be-7nm-and-provide-50-more-performance/I'm curious where the 7nm capacity is coming from to allow nVidia to switch to that node. It has been well publicised that 7nm capacity is fully booked and has been from the start of production.

2080ti is not a refresh it’s a new gen, and it’s still not wort it

You will not get both a 50% performance boost and power reductions

Nvidia is one of TSMCs prime customers with special relationships, Nvidia would have booked that priority a long time ago.
But in any case, I actually hear the opposite and TSMC are desperate for 7nm+ orders because Apple will switch to 5nm after the summer. It is intel that have capacity issues right now. TSMC does seem to have yield issues on 7nm, which might explain Nvidia delay and a reduction in orders.
