What's needed is AMD to do a Ryzen in the GPU space and really push Nvidia. That would benefit everyone.
It would but you make it sound so easy. These R&D cycles are hugely expensive and very difficult to recover from if a mistake is made.
We all know it's not easy but it's what we need. It becomes more likely as AMD make money and have the right management at the helm now.
