Instaled these give the highest custom TF2 timedemo benches by 10 - 15 fps

Very nice set for me, got +10-15 FPS in Mafia II demo (w/o Physx), compared to the previous 259 releases

yes they're better than 259.12quadro and allot better than 259.31 - smoother and lowest fps is also good;

Wow, these drivers are great!

I gained about 4 FPS in Crysis (2560x1600 with extreme quality mod), and the framerate is much smoother with no dips..

Also tested Metro 2033 and my average framerate was 4 FPS higher than with the 258.96.

Download driver , download modified inf , copy inf into unpacked directory (overwrite) and install!. Some of the best drivers have been modified inf ones :cool:

It's a great website with upto date beta drivers and driver fixes

Here is Nvidia's link though , exactly the same bloody file with no inf fix

So for the gaming, what can i say. These drivers are great. Nvidia seems to go in the right direction looking from a GTX 460 point of view.

Yes me , they work fine no problems to report... As for frame rates generally they are the same on the games i've tried

Excellent news. I have just installed these myself as well (straight over the top of the previous ones, I assume this ok (it is for ATI drivers).

Will try another run of Mafia 2 (once I download it again - I want to see if the claim of 10fps+ is accurate or not).

Most say that's a bad idea , some say this is ok too... Myself i always clean up old drivers and install.

Interesting, for ATI it's the recommended way....

Oh well, I have both saved so if it does bugger up its just a simply; uninstall-reinstall to do.

Installed over the 258.96's here. So far so good.

Ok I have ran Mafia 2 and lost 0.6fps which is within a margin of error (so basically the same as before).

I would love to know where this has come from:

Go into Nvidia control panel and then on system information and components

Do they all say 5932 ( apart from 534.04 last two )

Just checking something , btw about people getting a huge increase sometimes you get that with certain systems.

Yeh, still not in the modded file I downloaded, however, they still installed, so what do I know!

Seem to be good drivers so far, had an increase of 900+ points in 3Dmark06.

Yep, apart from what you mentioned, and the physx.
