Nvidia Beta Forceware 258.69

Nvidia has released the Beta Forceware 258.69 driver for Windows Vista and 7. This driver is for the GeForce 6, 7, 8, 9, 100, 200, 300, 400 and ION series cards. It adds support for Nvidia 3D Vision Surround technology, and contains a range of bug fixes. The driver package also contains the 9.10.0223 PhysX drivers.

booo no medal of honor 3D profile, game runs stunningly though at 40-60fps, just needs a few issues fixing

beta, but it uses the same engine as bad company 2 which is a certified 3D vision ready game so you'd imagine it'd be easy to get it running flawlessly in 3D

plays like modern warfare 2 but in the bad company engine but its not as good/polished as mw2, performance is much better than bad company 2 though

I haven't looked at Medal of Honour yet, but if it's based on bad company 2 I might be tempted to have a look, love BC2 I do

If its similiar to BC2 engine you can probably just duplicate the profile for that and modify slightly for the short term tho might not fix all the issues.

can't create 3D profiles but renaming the exe to BFBC2game.exe did the trick fixed everything but the 2D crosshair which will need a patch i guess, even works in dx11 now with much better shadow quality and it looks excellent and still runs great too

Installed these drivers today, and being honest I can't see any difference in performance compared to the 197.45 and other various 257.** drivers, I've only tried BFBC2 so far and I think the patch for the game has made the performance worse rendering any driver improvements useless! typical eh?

I'm running a single GTX 280 by the way!

Running GTX260 SLI and they don't seem any different to the other 256+ release drivers except that surround is enabled. I do see some reasonable performance increases over 197.xx and before tho and more importantly they run quite a bit (~7C) cooler than any of the 195-197 release drivers - back where it was with 191.xx.

I never notice any temperature differences with drivers

just updated for my gtx 470.. Seems to notice some improvement. Cant vouch for BF2C as I dont own that game yet.. But Dirt 2 seem to be a lot more fluid..
