Nvidia considering price cut

Gibbo if I order the Gigabyte G1 tonight with member's delivery would I have it by Saturday, or would we be looking at Monday?

To keep from derailing the thread completely:

They may drop the price if the voltage unlock & windows 10 yield good results (well more for AMD), but it's currently unknown.

I do expect prices to shift in a month or so.

Why would Win10 benefit AMD but not bring the same improvements to nVidia cards?

Great news to see OcUK doing well, even whilst taking a hit with single digit margins. Thanks for bringing us awesome deals!

Any idea when the EVGA 980Ti SC ACX might be next in stock?

It's in stock now, the none back plate version but £60 cheaper than backplate version

There were several places that had either the Amp or msi gaming in before ocuk did, you aren't always first and yes they have the Amp in stock

Not the store in question who have the Strix, I was referring to that store, not all stores.

We do have the best range, most in stock cards and most exclusives, true story. :)

The other stores I am not referring to but what I will say is they got less than 20 AMPs, OcUK has had over 200 and our price is way way lower, especially those who paid £499, buying power. ;)

Monday.

None really knows but the overhead amd have had with dx11 goes away so they face a bright future with their 8 core cpu along with the Fury on windows 10.
Project cars which is as far the only way to measure shows 30% increased fps for amd with a 290x and for nvidia it was no difference with a 980. win 8 vs win 10.

if that stays true for other games etc..is unknown.
its a lot that is up in the air as we are changing into windows 10 in 5 weeks.

I doubt NVIDIA will make any price move, as far as they are concerned Ti is faster, has more VRAM so why would they need to price themselves below AMD?

You also might want to compare OcUK prices to competitors, we are selling Ti from £509.99 until next Wednesday, whereas majority of our competitors are above £550 or higher and have hardly any stock or none.

OcUK has:
Largest range of 980Ti products
Most exclusives, G1, Inno3D, Galax, EVGA 4993-KR
Lowest prices in stock
Was first UK Reseller at £499 last weekend
Most in stock models of 980Ti

In short OcUK has kicked ass and chewed gum. :)

Big head :D
