Quick question
I have been using nvidia control panel for some time now,is nhancer any better or are they just the same?I hear people making SLI profiles in nhancer for certain games...is this the same thing as nvidia control panel/manage 3d settings/program settings?

do you prefer nvidia control panel or nhancer?
cheers

I don't think nHancer replaces the standard nVidia control panel, I think it's just for SLi profiles in between nVidia driver updates.

As above - nHancers main useage is for hand tweaking or creating application profiles with a focus on advanced SLI configuration.

I mainly use it for forcing AA on Unreal Engine 3 games, (recently, Borderlands) as it allows you to specify an exact AA path. Apparently you can also use it to force CoD4's ambient occlusion on MW2. You're not really missing out on much by not using it, though.

i thought you could do all that in the nvidia control panel?I just dont want to miss anything...
i have my sli profile in the nvida control panel set to Nvidia recommended...is this the best setting and will it use my sli gpus to the maximum or should i pick one of the AFR settings?

UE3 doesn't natively support AA, and attempting to force it through the NVcp just results in a small performance loss with no visual benefit. nHancer actually allows you to force a patched form of AA, designed for UE3.

Sadly I can't comment on SLI, as I've very little experience with it :o

Same with eve online - force the HDR + AA option in nHancer and works fine - no amount of forcing through the control panel will let you use AA in the game... not a big loss really tho.
