nvidia control panel

ok ive got a new computer that was already setup when i got it but i want to know if mine sounds ok.. ive got a gtx280 so was expecting a nifty super duper control panel thingy. but theres nothing apart from if i right click and go to nvidia control panel which gives basic information.. computer is running fine and no graphics problems in games but i just wondering if there is more stuff i should download to get more features or performance.. ie the company just installed basic stuff to get me going like they did with my mobo and i had a disk full of extras. I was expecting all kind of gpu monitoring programs with the gtx280 so i could at least see how hot it was!! I was even expecting a little nvidia logo in my bottom right but nothing.
This control panel i have seems rubbish with only 2 options for 3d settings then the rest on my display and video and television. Does this seem right or should i have more? I have another computer with dual 7800gts and the last download pacth gave me a cool nvidia control panel with lots of options and system monitoring stuff. the system info tells me the drivers are up to date but the whole things seems lacking.... hope this makes sense

Your on about cool bits. I dont think it works with the newer style drivers. Well it doesnt for me which is a shame and i much prefered the older style control panel.

If you want to be able to monitor temperatures etc i suggest downloading rivatuner

what about phys x thats supposed to be incorporated with this card? No mention of even that in any of the nvidia control panel i have?
